I just moved here from Brandon, maybe you should go learn from them ! I dont have a car. I depend on the bus it takes me 2 hours to get from Lake Miriam to the mall area on North 98 !!! I cant use it or I will be late for work, plus it doesnt run after 6:30 pm ?!?! Really.. I guess everyone gets off work at 6:00 !?!?

this is really not a review of the lakeland bus to dover - saturday, 9am bus and driver AMAZING as always!

this is because of a particular customer. im a saturday regular riding from port authority to dover. 10min before boarding time this middle aged lady and her kids shows up, walks in front of the line greeting her fellow parishioners like a celebrity. this is her MO.

yes there are a lot of seats available and honestly who gives a *** but clearly she does not respect the 8 (sometimes 10) people in line waiting for this bus for half an hour. no one calls her out so i had to do it. right after i said excuse me her fellow parishioner told me please go ahead asking me to board first like he was doing me a favor. WTF SHE DOES THIS EVERY SATURDAY!

9am saturday lakeland bus and driver always the best!

Umpleasant dining expetience

While the waitress was very pleasant and was very busy, you could overhear the 2 cooks( assuming 1 was a supervisor) arguing. The 1 man was louder than the other cook. The was letting hi. Know he had fired 3 other employees this week. It made us very uncomfortable while we waited for our food to be prepared.

Im sitting in the bus now, the driver told me I should stay home because I sneezed. I said I wasnt coughing I am sneezing. He said sneeze and cough are the same thing. Dont ride this bus if you disagree. What a nasty person. The driver doesnt understand he is working, not just drive for himself. Lakeland, do something!

I justvwantbtovsay that. We all count every minutes to make it to work on time to work. The trip ftom rocaway mall us already long as is. This driver never. And i mean never on time. Is it too hard fir you to have just a bus come directly to rocaway malk straight instead going through all thevstops first?do you think its ok for all of us to be late for tjis bus driver to come when ever the traffic let him? Can you PLEASE have some comparison about hiw we feel and how important for us to be on time ? This is so rude and selifish .

Is it a coincidence that the driver of the 6:40am to downtown Wall Street is continually late and reaches the last stop at 9:15-9:20am. The 5:30pm to Rockaway Mall is horrific and arrives after 7:30pm sometimes closer to 7:45pm This is s running joke amongst passengers even fellow drivers are in on the joke.. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

Rude drivers and dispatchers

Overpriced fare and the majority (not all!) of the drivers and dispatchers are extremely rude. It seems obvious they don’t like their jobs and are miserable. They say mean things about customers in front of other customers and turn them into jokes. They give half or no answers leaving customers confused or they just get really annoyed and have tons of sarcasm in their response. If customers are asking the same questions over and over to the point where drivers and dispatchers get annoyed, that’s a sign the system should be more clear. I have had a couple of instances with drivers being rude to me personally and have seen many where they are rude to other customers. I usually brush it off but on Wednesday February 28th 2018 I had an extra rude driver. Bus # 17236 left NY port authority at 7:14pm gate 206. I simply asked the driver which route he was taking (as there are multiple routes which determine what stop I get off) and he huffed and puffed, rolled his eyes and pointed his finger and told me to get off the bus and find a dispatcher if I needed to know. Ok that’s fine I would have done that but there was no dispatcher at the time. Yes, there usually are multiple dispatchers at the gate - but at this time there wasn’t. He insisted there are 2! I looked back and the office door was shut with no one to be found. I guess I wasn’t getting an answer so I just got on the bus and sat down. This driver then continues to talk and laugh about me to other customers! How rude! But if I was a glimmer of humor in their miserable life, I guess I’m ok taking the humiliation this time. But there have been other times where Lakeland has been helpful. Like when I left a bag on one of the buses I was able to contact the office and pick it up. They were nice about that.

Lakeland dispathchers treat customers poorly

I witnessed a senior citizen who spoke very little English tossed out of bus because she only had cash and didn't buy a ticket in advance. She kept saying "no English" and dispatcher (young guy, John) talked so rudely to her and made fun of her and told her out of bus, I don't care!." If that was my mom I would have spit in his face. I was so close to tell him off. This poor lady could hardly walk and he wanted to kick her out for wanting to pay in cash since she didn't even know how to speak English. What is wrong with this customer service. How can they allow these animals run this business. I would fire him immediately if that was my business to avoid law suits. I've witnessed disrespectful behavior from this individual multiple occasions. I hope Lakeland bus takes action.

One of the dispatchers told me a bus would be at lakeside at 430 pm and I sat there for an hour before I had to call for a ride in which case made me late for work I would suggest the train any day.

Lakeland Bus Lines - Bus Service Review

I have been taking he bus line for over a year back and forth for work. I looked up the schedule online as I stayed in the City later than usual. The online system said 10:50pm at gate 206. The door to the gate are locked so I go to the ticket agent to ask what time an where the next bus go Rockaway mall is. He informed me that the website was info was not correct and that the next bus to the mall was at 11:30pm at gate 402. At a nearby gate I confirm with an attendee and he assures me that's correct. As I'm getting in the bus, the bus driver says she's not stopping there and the next bus is at 1am. The online system says the 10:50pm is the last bus. They did not know the schedule nor cared that I would be stranded according to their own instructions.

I just got on the bus and am writing after being completely mortified by the bus driver. Since Lakeland doesn't have an online complaint system, I'll just post this publically. If Lakeland Bus is reading this, the bus number is 8733 on the New York bound bus from Parsippany on Friday 11/27 at 10:15pm. He was rude, inconsiderate, literally screamed at me for not having bills smaller than a $20, and threatened to not allow me to board. I have never felt more embarrassed. And I literally said nothing to this person. I would like to file a formal complaint, but I wanted this to be posted for public posterity.

Bus was over 30 minutes late. Called twice and was told 5 more minutes. Ended up having to take uber to nj transit station. This happened on 46 east fairfield stop 177447 stop. At 445 pm wed.

I am currently on a 7:10 am Lakeland bus from Rockaway Mall to BABT, bus #8762. You need to get this bus checked. I am in the last row and all the hot exhaust air is pouring into the bus from the side of the seat. I am sure there cannot be anything good about this. It's given me a major headache and nauseating feeling. The bus is currently full with nowhere to move. Must have someone check this before carrying any more passengers.
